ALU GLASS Surface LED Profile
This concept is designed to cap the top of the glass barriers, featuring a thickness of 17.5 mm (2x8 mm glass with safety foil in between). It tackles the challenge of creating durable and modern top finishes for glass barriers that were previously missing in the market. The design is both simple and aesthetic, enhancing the view of the glass barrier from above. A mounting base (not included) supports the considerable weight of the glass, while the Alu-Glass top profile complements the base and adds an elegant touch. We offer two standard anodized colors for this application: matte black and matte silver.
The matte finish prevents fingerprints from smudging the handrail. The profile includes a silicone, light-transmitting gasket that securely holds the glass within the profile. Additionally, the LED chamber positions the glass at the correct height, allowing the LEDs to illuminate the glass edge from within. The robust design can endure long-term use, even under heavy loads in public spaces.
