Purchase Terms and Conditions

Order format:

We accept orders only if they are placed in writing and sent to our general email address, info@ledson.eu. Any additional conditions related to the order must also be submitted in writing; otherwise, they will not be considered valid.

Delivery time:

All received orders are processed in the order they are received. The delivery date of your order, as indicated on the issued P/I, depends on the stock availability and the status of earlier orders. Orders with payment terms labeled as "advance payment” are processed after we receive payment in our account or upon receiving formal confirmation of the bank transfer e-mail.

Payment condition:

We offer advance payment terms as the standard to simplify the sale transaction. The additional 3% credit cost is not included in the calculation.

Bank transfer charges:

We expect to receive the full amount of the payment as specified on the issued P/I.
We do not agree to cover any bank charges related to the money transfer. This may delay the shipment and require additional payment for the missing part of the payment.

Late payments:

Customers with credit payment terms who pay late will be required to pay a late fee for overdue invoices. The fee rate is 14% per year.

Shipment damage:

Each customer using our forwarder is obligated to make the damage claim in writing, signed by the delivering courier, along with photos and a description of the damage, no later than 14 days after delivery. Once we receive the notice, we will submit the official claim to our forwarder and send the goods for replacement.

Late notice or incomplete written documentation cannot be accepted, nor can the process proceed successfully. Ledson is not responsible for damage during third-party shipments. We take full responsibility only for shipments on the LEDsON line to the customer when we use our forwarder. Damaged items must be returned to the sender by the customer at their own expense.

The damaged items will be replaced once the items are returned to the sender. After the forwarder accepts the damage claim, the shipping costs for the damaged items will be reimbursed.

Prices:

We use an official export price list, which is the same for all customers. The prices on the price list depend on the LME + Premium sale price in the London metal market. We reserve the right to change the prices on the price list in case of an increase or decrease in the LME + Premium on the market without prior notice.

The sale price is regulated by discounts, where the volume of the discount is strictly related to the order quantity. The discount levels and other integral conditions are clearly indicated in a separate document called “discount levels."

The discount levels are non-negotiable, and the only way to reduce the price is by increasing the order quantity to satisfy both parties. The prices are calculated on EXW Warsaw terms.

Incomplete shipment:

Customers who notice any missing items from the shipment should contact us within 14 days of delivery and submit their claims in writing. In multiple package shipments, it is possible that some items are still in transit while others have already been delivered.

In that case, we advise checking the number of parcels and the tracking numbers. If the items have not been delivered, we will verify this information with our internal shipping documents and accept or deny the quantity claim. If the claim is accepted, we will ship the missing items at our own expense cost as soon as possible.

Catalog pictures, product design rights are reserved:

We publish our catalog in both paper and electronic versions. LEDsON is the official owner of all designs and international patents for the LED profiles, and we assert all rights to the product design, images, and other source materials. Companies wishing to use this material must obtain our written consent. The material is reserved for companies that have requested it in writing and received our written acceptance.

The marketing source material cannot be resent to the third party without our notice. The product designs are fully protected by international law, and any unauthorized use is prohibited and will be prosecuted in a court of law. 

The source materials are the property of LEDsON and can only be used to promote LEDsON products during our cooperation. If the cooperation is terminated, the source pictures and other marketing materials owned by and related to LEDsON products must be permanently removed within 30 days of the customer's offer.

Distribution:

Company LEDsON sells LED profiles and other LED components exclusively to an international network of B2B customers. Customers based in the country where we have obtained a local (exclusive/non-exclusive) distributor should contact the local distributor with any questions about our products.

The distributor’s list is available on the "Contact Details" web page or the last page of our formal catalogs. All customer requests in markets where we have an (exclusive/non-exclusive) distributor will be forwarded to the local distributor for further processing.

Returns:

Company LEDsON does not accept any returns unless the product has a hidden manufacturing defect. Claims must be submitted in writing no later than 24 months from the date of purchase.

Products exchange:

If customers realize they've made a mistake and want to exchange their goods for others, they should notify us in writing no later than 14 days after the delivery date. The products they wish to exchange must be unused and should show no visible damage.

The transportation costs for returning incorrect items, shipping new items, and any purchase balance amount (if applicable) must be fully covered by the customer. All conditions related to returns must be in writing; otherwise, they are not valid.

Guarantee:

To our knowledge, all our products are free from visible or hidden production defects. The warranty for the aluminum LED profiles is 24 months (standard EU warranty), beginning from the date of the invoice.

 

The guarantee applies to the anodizing surface, dimensions, accessories, LED strips, and other electronic components currently offered. Products must be used in accordance with product application under the operating condition requirements. Each defect claim will be handled individually, and a decision will be made after the return of the claimed items within 30 days.

MOQ:

There is no MOQ; however, the sale price is regulated by the discount, which is strictly related to the order volume quantity. Length, color, anodizing surface customizing:

A customer can order LED profiles in customized lengths and colors [RAL] or with different anodized surfaces. However, the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 500 kg of aluminum, which, when divided by the weight of the desired profile, provides a specific amount in meters.

Customers should be aware that customized products must be paid for in advance and taken in full quantity at once when the goods are ready. The price and timeframe need to be determined individually with LEDsON. The following terms and conditions apply only to foreign customers.
